Warrap State is one of the ten (10) states of the Republic of South Sudan, headed by a Governor.
Kuajok serves as the Administrative Headquarters and also doubles as the Municipal Council, headed by a Mayor. Its inhabitants are predominantly Dinka Rek, Twic Mayardit & Luac-jang. Additionally, two other ethnic groups, which are part of the sixty-four (64) ethnic groups of the Republic of South Sudan, reside in the state: the “Bongo” in Tonj South County and the “Jur-Manangeer” in Gogrial East County. Warrap State comprises six counties, each headed by a Commissioner. The 6 Counties are:

- Tonj East County
- Tonj South County
- Tonj North County
- Gogrial East County
- Gogrial West County
